Contact: support@ownebook.com. The Refund and cancellation policy and Privacy policy explain refunds and personal-data processing. The version displayed when you approve an order governs that order. 1. Account and service Provide accurate account information, protect your login and promptly report unauthorized use. You must have legal capacity to enter into these terms; an adult account holder must supervise and be responsible for any permitted use by a minor. Books for children are allowed; exploitation of children is not. OwnEbook assists with planning, writing, illustration, layout and PDF export. You choose the available book type, language, size and edition. Style images are examples of a visual direction, not a promise to reproduce their exact composition or a third party's work. Review your generated book before publishing or selling it. 2. Editions, delivery and timing Basic: generates a book using the selected settings, with editable content where the chosen format supports it. Pro: adds an illustrated finish to eligible pages, either after Basic generation when selected at creation or as a separately approved upgrade. Pro PDF pages are images: text on those pages is not independently editable or selectable. The original source book remains available for editing. Delivery: results are saved in your account and completed exports become downloadable there. A progress estimate is not a guaranteed completion time. Work can wait for a provider, balance or review; saved successful pages remain available. We apply technical and content checks, but they cannot guarantee that every factual, editorial or visual issue is detected. Automatic recovery is bounded; a job can require assistance or remain incomplete. Rejected or undelivered failed outputs are not charged as successful results. A finished subset may be charged only under the approved pricing rules, within the approved amount. See the refund policy for unresolved non-delivery. 3. Prices and AI Balance Classic, Designer and Premium describe visual finishing, not different standards of factual or instructional accuracy. Written Classic books retain editable text. Written Designer and Premium reconstruct source pages as finished images; text inside those PDF pages is not independently editable or selectable. Original written content remains saved. Illustrated books are generated directly in the selected finish. Printable books retain their functional grids, fields and answers with the selected styling; they do not undergo an unnecessary full-page image conversion. Visual examples indicate direction, not guaranteed identical output. Classic, Designer and Premium purchases show an estimated total and an approved spending maximum before generation. The displayed amounts include applicable OwnEbook service charges. The estimate is not a fixed price: your final charge depends on the work performed, within the approved maximum. We do not increase that maximum without new approval. Separate page finishing and optional actions show their own estimate or spending cap. Failed illustrated results are not charged. Accepted orders keep their saved pricing, including historical fixed-price contracts. Astra at-cost purchases charge actual provider usage without usage markup or a book service fee; the subscription is separate. An already paid reference analysis is credited toward generation where the offer says it is included. AI Balance is prepaid, closed-loop credit for OwnEbook services, not transferable money, a deposit, interest-bearing value or a means to pay other merchants. Holds reserve the approved amount; the final charge reflects the applicable contract and delivered results. Transaction history shows charges, releases and adjustments. Saving a card does not authorize automatic balance top-ups. AI Balance is tied to your OwnEbook account and cannot be transferred to another account. It is not a cash-withdrawal facility: eligible refunds are returned to the original payment method under our Refund and cancellation policy, and your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected. Existing purchased credits retain the no-expiry promise made when purchased, while the account remains open. We will not retrospectively expire them. Any different validity condition for a future purchase must be clearly disclosed before that purchase and does not alter earlier credits. Prepayment does not create lifetime or indefinite software-access rights. Each approved generation is a defined delivery of work; any subscription has the stated paid term. Unused purchased credit can be requested back under the refund policy. 4. Astra and recurring subscriptions Astra's subscription fee and AI usage are separate. While its at-cost benefit is active, eligible new AI work uses OwnEbook's provider connection and is charged to your AI Balance at the recorded provider cost without OwnEbook's AI markup or the standard fixed-book surcharge, subject to the approved cap. You do not need to supply an OpenRouter API key and are not given access to ours. The subscription does not include unlimited AI generation. Charges for work already approved retain the pricing contract accepted for that work. The selected amount, billing interval and renewal date are shown before payment. Whop recurring intervals currently used are 7 days, 30 days or 365 days; 30-day billing is not a calendar month, and 365-day billing is not a promise to renew on the same calendar date. A different future plan must disclose its own interval before purchase. Recurring payments require your explicit authorization and continue until cancelled. A one-time balance purchase never becomes a recurring subscription merely because its card is saved. Cancel through Subscription in your account before the next renewal, or contact support@ownebook.com if you cannot do so. Cancellation stops future renewals; benefits normally remain until the end of the paid period. Manual bank-transfer access, where offered, lasts only for the paid period and does not authorize automatic debits. Cancellation does not erase unused AI Balance. A renewal-price change applies only prospectively, with notice and the opportunity to cancel before it takes effect. 5. Payments Host Ri LLC supplies the service. Whop processes card payments where selected; its Buyer Terms apply to that payment relationship. Required payer verification, billing address, saved-card login and payment notices are part of the secure provider checkout. OwnEbook does not receive or store your full card number or CVC. Review the final total, currency and any taxes or provider conversion charges before paying. OwnEbook prices and AI Balance accounting are in USD unless expressly shown otherwise. The selected gateway confirms successful payment before balance or subscription benefits are applied. A confirmed cash refund can remove the corresponding available unused purchased credit and its proportional granted promotional credit. This does not take funds reserved for ongoing work or automatically create debt collectible from a future top-up. Disputes are recorded and reviewed; a dispute notice alone does not automatically delete books or infer a subscription cancellation. Subscription access follows the verified provider status. Unrelated purchases and saved work are not automatically forfeited. 6. Immediate delivery and consumer rights Requesting an AI job asks us to start that specific work. Purchasing credit or ticking acceptance of these terms alone does not waive withdrawal rights. For EU, EEA and UK consumers, the applicable 14-day withdrawal right is preserved. Any lawful exception for immediate digital-content delivery requires your separate express request and acknowledgment before delivery. For service contracts, including SaaS where classified as a service, starting performance does not itself remove the entire right: a proportionate charge or loss of the right on full performance applies only when the legal conditions are satisfied. The refund policy explains how to exercise your rights. 7. Your content and lawful use You keep rights in materials you upload. You authorize us and the technical providers needed for your request to process them to deliver, secure and support the service. You must have the necessary rights to use uploaded references; a screenshot does not grant permission to copy protected text, a recognizable character, a trademark or a distinctive protected design. Generated results may be used commercially to the extent permitted by applicable law and provider terms; exclusivity, copyright protection and non-infringement are not guaranteed. Do not use OwnEbook for unlawful activity, fraud or forged credentials; child exploitation or sexual abuse material; pornography or sexual-gratification products; inciting real-world violence or protected-class hatred; actionable weapons or explosives manufacture; phishing, malware, credential theft or non-consensual surveillance; piracy or other intellectual-property infringement; deceptive endorsements, fabricated testimonials, academic cheating or unlicensed regulated services. Do not evade billing, security, usage limits or account controls. Lawful fiction, children's books, devotional content, craft guides and general health or financial education are not prohibited merely because of their category; they must still meet these rules and must not misrepresent regulated professional services or unsafe claims. Report suspected unlawful or infringing material to support@ownebook.com with the content location or project reference, the affected right or concern, and information allowing us to contact you and assess it. We may restrict the specific content, investigate, request clarification, or suspend repeat or serious misuse. Where lawful and safe we notify affected users and allow a response. These reporting steps do not replace any statutory notice procedure. 8. Availability, responsibility and changes AI can produce incorrect facts, unsafe instructions, omissions and visual defects. No sales, income, marketplace approval or publication success is promised. You must review the book and any safety-critical guidance with a qualified person when necessary. We remain responsible for obligations the law places on the supplier; disclaimers do not excuse non-delivery or remove mandatory quality, conformity or refund rights. We may perform maintenance or restrict misuse, fraud, security threats and unlawful activity. Unless urgency or law prevents it, we explain a material restriction and provide a way to contact support. Account closure does not extinguish valid refund or privacy requests. Download your completed work before requesting deletion; access is not promised forever. We publish dated versions of material terms and give appropriate notice. Changes do not rewrite earlier accepted orders or remove accrued rights. Contact support@ownebook.com to resolve a concern; this is not a mandatory step before exercising a statutory remedy or contacting a payment provider or regulator. Applicable mandatory consumer law and jurisdiction rules prevail. We do not impose an exclusive US or Moroccan forum through these terms. Choose how to pay for Astra and its renewals Where offered, choose your existing OwnEbook AI Balance or a card for your Astra subscription. Before you confirm, we show the subscription amount, billing interval and selected payment source. Your subscription details show renewal timing. Automatic renewal requires your separate, explicit authorization of that amount, interval and source. Choosing AI Balance or accepting these terms alone does not authorize recurring debits. Existing and manual one-period balance purchases remain non-renewing unless you separately authorize a new recurring subscription. For a subscription you authorize to renew from AI Balance, the agreed fee is deducted from your available AI Balance when the paid period ends. Only that balance is used: we do not charge a card as a fallback, automatically top up the balance or create a negative balance for the renewal. If available credit is insufficient, the renewal waits and subscription benefits pause when the paid period ends; your saved books remain. Unless you cancel, we automatically recheck after a credit is added and periodically. Once enough credit is available, one new full paid period starts when renewal succeeds. We do not charge for missed periods or recover accumulated renewal fees. You can cancel future renewals in Subscription before the next debit is completed, or contact support@ownebook.com if you cannot do so. Access already paid for continues through its paid-through date. For AI Balance renewals, the authorized price and billing interval remain unchanged unless you separately authorize new terms. A card subscription renews through its payment provider under the amount and interval disclosed at checkout. The subscription fee remains separate from AI generation usage. AI Balance top-ups remain separate one-time purchases; neither a saved card nor a subscription turns them into automatic top-ups. Any refund due for a subscription purchase paid from AI Balance returns to the same AI Balance, without restricting mandatory consumer rights or eligible refunds of unused purchased credit under our refund policy. A promotional code described as an AI-credit bonus adds the displayed usage credit after an eligible confirmed payment; it does not reduce the subscription price or renewal amount. Subscription bonus codes apply to the first confirmed payment only, subject to their displayed eligibility and redemption limits.
